All right so people buy here for many Reasons including the beach and the Waterfront and all the beautiful Attributes of Sarasota Florida but if You have kids schools are really Important so I'm going to talk to you About two of the top elementary schools Here in Sarasota Florida so please stay Tuned all right so when you Google top Elementary schools in Sarasota Florida You'll find Southside to be one and Ashton Elementary to be another so I'm Always thinking about things from the Real estate perspective so when you Drive around the Southside area you'll Notice Harbor acres is here there's a Bunch of other communities so I Generally call it the Southside District So when you say that your children go to Southside or they need to go to Southside it's generally a really good Neighborhood for resale there's Cher Cherokee Park where I'm standing here Right now beautiful neighborhood Here So you can have an idea of the Properties here and it's actually right Across from Southside so there it is We're going to talk to you more about it Here in a minute school is in session And they usually frown upon us going on Campus but um it's over here on the Corner of Weber and Osprey so this is a Nice time to come here because school's

Already in session when this place gets Busy and kids are checking into school It's a mad house um but anyway so Google Outside school um you'll find that they Have raving reviews from parents which I Think is the most important right from The parents and on so as I mentioned We're here on Weber and Osprey and just To the South is the Hillview area where They have Morton's Market a gourmet um Grocery store and then to the opposite Side going south is the access the north Access to Siesta Drive which takes you To Siesta Key Beach hopefully can hear Me I know this traffic it's a very Popular place but um definitely a very Very nice residential area in high Demand area lots of doctors um purchase Here because the Sarasota Memorial Hospital is Right nearby as well so Prime prime location and here I'm going To read off some of the noteworthy Things that I found about Southside School district here High progress with High test scores means students have Strong academic skills and school is Doing an excellent job at supporting Academic growth compared to most other Schools so it was um when you go to Google you'll you'll notice I think it Was a nine out of a 10 um I know Ashton Was a 10 out of a 10 just on Google like The Google ratings But new US News and World Reports say

Quote the population of Southside Elementary School is 673 and the school School serves PK Through five um 88% of students scored At or AB above the proficient level for Math and 84% scored at or above the Level for reading so it actually ranked Number two top elementary school in Sarasota I thought it was number one but You know I guess I hear about Southside More I think because maybe I sell more In this area of Sarasota but neither Here nor there it's a top School all right next up on our Elementary school tour is Ashton Ashton Ranks 10 out of a 10 on Google so of Course as a parent you're going to want To talk to other parents talk to the Teachers do a school campus tour which By the way it's behind us school's in Session can't really see too much Because it's just the parking lot here But this is the school located off of Ashton and hore we're definitely closer To South Sarasota here closer to Clark Road and all of those amenities down There close by you'll find as far as Neighborhoods is uh the Greater Community of Palmer Ranch and Palmer Ranch is a a master plan community so um Great real estate down here as well and Some smaller communities and the large Master plan Community um obviously when you're

Talking about relocating when it comes To schools I think getting with a local Realtor would be uh very beneficial Especially someone like myself who's Been here a long time I've talked to a Lot of parents throughout the years you Know and and I think that um face tace And and speaking with parents and people Who live in the community a long time I Think is invaluable when it comes to Picking a school and picking an area for Your children so that being said um Other online noteworthy items here that It was a-rated and they have special Programs for uh drama physical education Art and music so I thought that was neat They also have extracurricular Activities such as language chorus and Tennis just to name a few so um and now On to the reviews from the parents Probably most importantly Right here's one quote as a parent we Have had an amazing experience at Ashton Staff Administration PTO events Etc have Been Stellar the performing arts program And acade academics are top Notch great Review uh here's another one quote as a Fifth grade student who stuck around for All six years every year has been a Really fun Journey for me and I will Never forget all the memories I've made Here the teachers are clearly educated On their things and the safety is Outstanding I guess that might be from a
