345,294 tons of storm debris removed in first four weeks of collection Roaldo Percoco, November 14, 2024November 14, 2024 As of Nov. 13, the City’s contractors have removed approximately 𝟑𝟒𝟓,𝟐𝟗𝟒 𝐭𝐨𝐧𝐬 of storm debris citywide. Contractors are using various sizes of trucks, trailers, and collection equipment to safely navigate areas that may be inaccessible to larger equipment, such as narrow roads or areas with canopy trees. To expedite the process, be sure to keep debris piles away from any obstructions (trees, mailboxes, power poles, water meters, etc.). You can help ensure timely pickup of your storm debris by giving collection equipment space to maneuver. Reminder: A storm debris collection map is available at Questions? Please call the Storm Debris Hotline at 833-947-7739, available from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m.
