These paintings signify something deeper than just the Florida landscapes of the mid-1900s, they symbolize the hardships each Black artist faced during segregation. Want to hear more about these artists’ journey? An informative lecture is being offered at City Hall Tuesday, Feb. 13 at three convenient times: 10 a.m. 2 p.m. 6 p.m. Seating is first come, first served with a maximum occupancy of 225 per lecture.
