I think 2024 will be gangbusters, as it’s already off to a fiery start. An interesting dichotomy to that are some pocket areas that are seeing ramped up inventory that is sitting and taking a while to move. Perhaps February is the month for those folks. I bet it is…. but time will tell and the well priced homes will always move.
Homes that are in the most move-in ready condition, especially anything with VIEWS, particularly wide open water views, are the ones in highest demand.
Don’t give the buyers a reason to look at your home too quickly. You want them to stay. You want them to sit on the furniture and mentally move themselves into your home. If they do that, the chances are higher that they’ll present you with an offer.
Make the curb appeal grab them. Have the home smelling great. Stage the interior to remove clutter. Cleanliness matters! And removing too many personal affects matter. When we do all of these things, you’re giving the buyers an opportunity to imagine their new lives in this property.
