HIDDEN beach accesses are strewn all about the Sarasota, FL area. The beaches in the Sarasota and greater area are truly second to none. Ranking in the top three, and usually number one beach in the country, is Siesta Key, however there are many other exceptional beaches. This one featured in today’s Youtube Short, is actually Longboat Key. What you see here is the Emerald Harbour community’s private gated beach access, as paid for and maintained by those residents who own in the neighborhood. While it’s a voluntary fee, it’s only around $600/year to utilize this incredible amenity.
There is no community beach pavilion and parking on Longboat Key, so it has a feeling of more privacy than some of the other islands such as Lido Key, Anna Maria Island and Siesta Key, all of which have large public beach parking pavilions. That’s what gives Longboat Key, FL it’s “je ne sais quoi” so to speak… in English, “I can’t explain” or “not sure how to say…”
An alluring island for vacationers, those seeking a snowbird reprieve from the North, we welcome you all and are happy to educate you on the local real estate market, the homes, neighborhoods, things to do, see and where to dine.
